Reimbursement of travel costs - § 32 ods. 12 písm. d)

The Office of Labor, Social Matters and Family of the Slovak Republic  reimburses to a job seeker a part of  travel cost spent for the purpose of job mediation, if such travel cost part is related to his/her participation in a interview or selection proceedings at an employer or  participation in associated job mediating organized by the Head Office of Labor, Social Matters and Family or Office of Labor, Social Matters and Family in the area of the  Slovak Republic on behalf of an employer or employer from any other EU member state, if the travel cost is higher than four EUR. The reimbursement is to be provided in amount of 70 % of provable cost, however, maximum 35 EUR for all of travels performed in a calendar month.     

Travel expenses are expenses spent for transport by public transportation facilities  from the place of principal residence or place of temporary residence and, if in the  place of principal residence or place of temporary residence no public transportation means are available, then from the place where the public transportation facilities are available to the place of interview, or selection proceedings at an employer or  participation in associated job mediating organized by the Head Office of Labor, Social Matters and Family or Office of Labor, Social Matters and Family in the area of the  Slovak Republic on behalf of an employer or employer from any other EU member state and back.

Reimbursement of the travel cost part is provided on the base of an written application of a job seeker, to which a confirmation about completing of interview, or selection proceedings at an employer or participation in associated job mediating organized by the Head Office of Labor, Social Matters and Family or Office of Labor, Social Matters and Family in the area of the Slovak Republic on behalf of an employer or employer from any other EU member state shall to be enclosed. The travel cost reimbursement application shall be submitted by a job seeker not later than within ten work days after finish of a calendar month, in which the claim for reimbursement of the travel cost part was originated.

Reimbursement of the travel cost part is provided by the Office of Labor, Social Matters and Family or by legal entity or physical entity performing or ensuring activities according to this act, mainly when mediating a job, Professional consulting services, education, and preparation for labor market based on written agreement concluded with Office or Head Office.
