Education and labor market preparation for employees - § 47

Education and labor market preparation of employees are performed by relevant employer in the interest of further work opportunities of its employees by the form of general education and labor market preparation of employees and specific education and labor market preparation of an employee. 

General education is an education, the objective of which is the gaining of  knowledge, which are usable not only for present or future position of an employee in the company, but which gives a qualification to be largely transferred to other  companies or  work areas and improves the ability of trained person to find a job significantly. 

Specific education is an education, the objective of which is to gain the knowledge which are directly and immediately usable for present or future job of an employee in the company and which provides a non-transferable or partially transferable qualification to other companies or work areas. 

The target group of education and labor market preparation of employees are:

- Employees,

- Disadvantaged workers,

- Workers with health handicap.

Office of Labor, Social Matters and Family may provide a allowance for education and labor market preparation of employees to the employer, if the employer enters into engagement that:

a) These employees will be employed by it minimum 12 months after finish of education of the employees.

Or

b) The education of employees will be performed as a part of measures allowing preventing from or imposing limitations on mass lay off

Allowance for education and labor market preparation of employees is provided pursuant to an agreement concluded with Office of Labor, Social Matters and Family by reimbursement based on submitted documents proving the amount of justified cost spent. 

The allowance for education and labor market preparation of employees may be requested by at the Office of Labor, Social Matters and Family, in the territory of which it has its registered office, or its organizational unit or principal residence or subsidy seat.  

Support intensity:   

a) 25 % of justified cost for specific education,

b) 60 % of justified cost for general education. 

The support intensity may be increased up to the maximum support intensity 80 %, as follows: 

- 10 %, if the support is provided to employees with health handicap or disadvantaged  employees,

- 10 %, if the support is provided to medium enterprises, 

- 20 %, if the support is provided to small enterprises.

Maximum allowance amount for education of employees is 2 Million EUR for one project.
